"Before utilizing the InTouch software, the communication between citizens, field workers and City staff was difficult. There were many miscommunications due to not being able to obtain follow-up from field workers to relay to citizens. The break down really started to become a customer service issue on many levels. The need to track citizen concerns was also a major issue for City leaders.  This software has given us the ability to not just track issues, but to provide exceptional follow-up as well as the ability to follow trends in service calls. By following these trends we are able to be proactive on behalf of our citizens and divert a problem before it occurs. All of that is possible due to the information that we retain in this software.  It has changed the way the City of DeSoto does business with residents as well as City staff.
